German scientists from the Ludwig-Maximilian University reported that sexual passion begins to fade after a year relationship.
However, partners have hope if they have children.
Researchers from Germany interviewed more than 3,000 people aged 25 to 40, to assess the level of their sexual life. It turned out that in the first year of the relationship is observed positive development in the level of sexual satisfaction, and is followed by a steady decline.
According to the authors of the study, this is because in the first year of relationship people seek to satisfy sexual needs each other, but after reaching this start to affect different levels of sexual desire, which sex becomes increasingly rare.
With the development of relationship satisfaction from sex is constantly decreasing. Only 27% of couples who were able to stretch together for 16 years, said sexual satisfaction. But do not despair – this study showed that the presence of children does not negatively affect sex life partners.
It is considered that after the children, the woman experiences less interest in sex, but the study was inconclusive. On the contrary, it is established that the frequency of sex largely depends on the presence and age of children.
Earlier other group of researchers also came to the conclusion that with age the sexual life of the partners becomes less intense. There are several theories that define the rock level in the relations, among which the theory of three, 7 years, 13 years and 17 years. The authors of all these theories claim that if the pair successfully bypassed these terms, in the future their relationship is not in danger.
