It turned out that the Moon does not affect human.
Scientists from the research Institute of Ontario said that in fact the Moon has a definite influence on human behavior.
The researchers added that a full Moon can cause insomnia, or provoke physical and mental changes.
“Research involving children is more relevant, because they are more susceptible to behaviour change than adults, and their need for sleep higher,” – said one of the study’s authors, Dr. Jean-Philippe Chapu.
Scientists took more than five thousand children of different ages, nationalities and gender. The experiment was performed 28 months, according to the number of lunar phases.
As a result, scientists have divided the period into three cycles: full moon, half moon and new moon. When the moon is full, sleep duration is reduced by five minutes compared to the new moon. But no other major changes, or where diseases have not found.
