Unusual lights can be ten times more massive than the Sun.
Astronomers using the telescope “Kepler” discovered a few stars that emit x-rays much stronger than those that come from the Sun.
As reported on the website NASA, these stars are rotating so fast, that resemble a pumpkin.
According to the researchers, unusual lights was formed in the merger of the two stars the size of the Sun. We found only 18 such stars, rotation period which lasts for a few days while the Sun is needed a month to make a revolution around its axis.
The star 10 times the Sun, they make a revolution around its axis in 5.5 days and emit x-rays in four thousand times more powerful than our star at the peak of activity.
