Scientists say that there is still a lot unknown
A team of astronomers found that the Universe is at least ten times more galaxies than they previously thought.
The study claimed that in the previous calculations were overlooked a large number of faint galaxies that are far away from the milky Way.
“The mind boggles that more than 90% of the galaxies in the Universe we have yet to learn. Who knows what interesting features we will find when we begin to observe them with the advent of a new generation of telescopes,” — said the head of the research group of Christopher Consoles.
According to the data obtained from the telescope “Hubble” in the mid-1990s, it was believed that there are about 100 billion galaxies.
