Archaeologists have discovered a skeleton with encrusted minerals teeth

Археологи обнаружили скелет с инкрустированными минералами зубамиThe finding was discovered near the ancient Mexican ruins of Teotihuacan.

Archaeologists have discovered in Mexico near the ancient ruins of Teotihuacan the skeleton of a woman of high society, in the teeth of which were encrusted with mineral stones.

The age of human remains is 1600 years.

At the time of death a resident of the ancient world was about 35-40 years. The burial also had 19 litres of beer, according to the National Institute of anthropology and history. The skull of the deceased had an elongated shape, this was extremely compressed, this deformation is usually resorted to in the southern part of Mesoamerica, but not in the Central region, where the skeleton of a woman was found by experts.

Although intentionally distorted human remains were found in Teotihuacan, the skeleton, which was named “woman of Clalaclan” (named after the area where bones were found), has the same damage. The distinctive feature of these remains is the presence of two round pyrites mounted in the upper front teeth. This feature indicates that the woman was “a foreigner” in Teotihuacan. A similar technique is used in areas of the Maya in southern Mexico and Central America. Examining the skull, scientists also identified the deceased denture lower teeth, which was made with green serpentine stone.
