Archaeologists hope to see the surface, on which rested the body of Jesus.
Archaeologists have removed a marble slab with a funerary Bed of Christ in the Sepulchre (Jerusalem, Israel).
It is reported that under a marble slab, set in 1555, a large number of stone material.
According to archaeologist Fredrik Hibbert of the National geographic society, scientists will be able to see the original surface of the stone, which, according to tradition, rested the body of Jesus Christ.
Scientists also believe that, thanks to the opening of the tomb, will be able to find out why St. Helen, who conducted excavations in Jerusalem, decided that this tomb is the burial place of Christ.
