In Japan plan to create a system of devices that will monitor space debris within the earth’s orbit.
In Tokyo say that such measures are being implemented to improve security in the country and creation of favorable conditions for the launch of space satellites and ships its own production. The apparatus created by the Japanese, will be an innovative network of telescopes and radars which will start in 2017. The government of the Empire has allocated for this purpose about 200 million yen. In dollars this amount will be approximately two million. It is planned that the system will actively operate until the end of 2022.
In addition, Japanese experts believe that over the next decade the number of intergalactic space debris may grow twice. But if the American orbiting satellites will be damaged because of this garbage, then the security of Japan and the North Pacific ocean may be under threat.
