Danish scientists have deciphered the language of whales.
Scientists from the University of southern Denmark explored the sounds produced by sperm whales, and came to the conclusion that they are able to convey certain messages to individual members of the pack.
To make such conclusions, on the bodies of seven sperm whales that live in the Azores and got the sensors.
Then, experts analyzed the recordings. As a result, scientists registered 21 the combination of sounds of sperm whales.
In total, biologists have recorded 802 messages published five whales, the sperm whale the other two were silent.
By the way, one message the experts heard 288 times from 4 animals.
As scientists say, the whales can communicate not only the “language group”, and individually between members of his flock.
