Scientists have developed a new model taking into account such factors as age, weight, height, physical activity level and caloric content of foods. According to the new formula to lose 0.5 kg of weight, you should eat 10 calories a day less for three years. Thus, indulging in 100 calories daily, in three years you will probably lose 5 pounds.

Half of these pounds you will lose in the first year. To lose weight even more, give up more than 10 calories for every pound of excess weight.
