Orbital Observatory “Hubble” has received photos of the globular cluster NGC 4833 in the constellation Flies, which is inhabited by some of the oldest stars of our galaxy, whose bowels keep the story of her birth.

Globular cluster NGC 4833 was discovered in the mid-18th century French astronomer de Nicoya Lokalem during one of his travels to the southern hemisphere of the planet. It is located on the outskirts of our galaxy, about 20 thousand light years from Earth, and it is extremely difficult to see because of the clouds of gas and dust covering it from the eyes of most ground-based telescopes.
This family of stars, as shown by recent observations with the Hubble and other space telescopes, is a group of some of the most ancient stars in the milky Way. Globular clusters are very old, even by cosmic standards – the average age of stars in them are often more than 5-6 billion years, and in addition to this, NGC 4833 older than the other “star families” this kind of 2 billion years.
For this reason, the study of NGC 4833, with tools like the Hubble and other telescopes is of great interest to scientists. For example, the chemical and isotopic composition of these stars can tell us how to look and what was the galaxy at the time of their birth, at the dawn of the Universe, and how the milky Way evolved in the early stages of his life, when globular clusters were young.
