After millions of years these markings cause changes in the structure and properties of the surface of continents. To such conclusion experts have come, having studied computer models of different sections of the lithosphere.
Scientists have noted that some parts of the mantle may influence the formation of cracks and ledges in the earth’s crust. Such anomalies are formed on the basis of those “scars” left by ancient processes on tectonic plates.
