The newly discovered object was named the Pleiades HII 3441B. According to the study, it is in the South-East from the main star and is approved as its object companion. Weight Pleiad HII 3441B is approximately 68 Jupiter masses and a temperature of 2 700 K. in addition, the researchers found that there is no methane absorption in the atmosphere of this subsistence satellite. They stressed that the methane is considered to condense below 1300 K.
Scientists also do not exclude the possibility that the object is another weak member of the Galaxy along the same line of sight, because the surveillance had failed to detect its orbital motion. According to the researchers, their work contributes to determine the initial mass function in the Pleiades.
