The ancient Shrine, miraculously survived to our times, was discovered in the province of Mugla, in southwest Turkey. Archaeologists stumbled upon a family burial, which dated in the four hundredth year of BC.
The fact that the tomb remained untouched, was a great happiness for scholars, said the Director of the archaeological Museum of Milas Savran Gulnaz.
The tomb belonged to a wealthy family, as evidenced by the uniqueness of its architecture and necklace, the like of which was never found in this region. The experts concluded that the crypt of the family enjoyed for several centuries.
