Archaeologists from China revealed in Insane mountains in Inner Mongolia rock carvings made more than one thousand years ago.
Experts note that among these images there are pictures showing hunters and many kinds of animals.
The researchers noticed that the drawings have survived quite well, although it was created many centuries ago. Scientists believe that the images on the rocks left by ancient nomads, the ancestors of the modern Qiang people. The representatives of this ethnic group currently live in Sichuan province (southwest China).
In the mountains Insane experts have discovered already more than ten thousand similar images. One of the most important finds made four years ago when scientists were able to find drawings that are older than four thousand years.
