A Swedish inventor has created a flying chair

Шведский изобретатель создал летающее креслоTakeoff and landing is carried out vertically, as in the familiar drones and quadcopters.

Swedish inventor named amazingDIYprojects and part-owner of the eponymous channel on YouTube, has built a flying chair, and laid out in open access detailed instructions for making unusual vehicles.

The author himself calls the invention of the flying chair “individual flying a drone, but a drone can be called only conditionally, because the pilot is in the aircraft, but does not control them remotely. However, this name the author coined for a reason: the fact that flying the chair up in the air thanks to the pull the eight screws and take off and landing is carried out vertically, as in the familiar drones and quadcopters.

These machines were invented in the past, but for takeoff with a pilot on Board they had to pull 12, 16 or even 54 electric motors. As recognized by the author of the project, reduce the number to 8 him was not difficult. Instead of batteries as the power source he used the internal combustion engine with a volume of approximately 5 liters, which gave much greater power and increased flight times. At the moment, the chair is only able to get off the ground to a height of not more than 1 meter, but in the future the inventor expects to increase this figure.

It should be noted that this is not the first invention of the Swede. Previously, he has already built on similar technology flying car (though it only took off 10 attempts) which was up in the air to a height of 5-storey building.

Get acquainted with the principles of flying chairs you can use the video below. Well, if you decide to build your own flying machine, on the same YouTube channel you’ll find detailed video instructions on Assembly.
