Scientists from the UK sent it to our colleagues from Belgium collection of rare specimens of the human brain.
The collection consists of three thousand copies and is considered the largest in Europe. The drugs that are on the list, began to gather in the middle of the last century.
In the collection of samples has the brains of people with different mental disorders – from depression to severe psychotic problems such as schizophrenia. This collection of human organs is unique because it presents samples of the brain allows to study a wide range of mental illnesses.
Also, these instances belonged to the people who are not treated with modern medicines, which in those days was not yet. The collection was transferred from the hospital of the London clinic near Antwerp due to the fact that it began to occupy a large area.
