Canadian and Italian scientists have found that trees can communicate with each other via the roots.
They also help each other with meals during illness.
This unexpected discovery was made by researchers in the joint research project. It turned out that with the roots of trees pass each other different information, usually information about the type and status of “health”. Scientists say that this also help the “mushroom network”. Trees with roots can know the status of the “health” of your own kind, and able to transfer nutrients patients in order to speed up the process of recovery.
Scientists say that after these results they have crept into the issues about the existence of intelligence in trees. So they are going to conduct a new study that will test this theory.
