Tomorrow, August 1, will come into force the law on decrease in the rate of excise duty on used vehicles.
The relevant document, the parliamentarians may 31 was supported by 227 votes, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed it on 4 July.
The act is offered until December 31, 2018, reduce rates of excise duties on used cars. The reduction in excise will affect cars older than 2009.
This assumes that the excise tax specified in this paragraph do not apply to passenger cars if they are:
are derived from of the country, recognized by the state occupant according to the law of Ukraine and/or recognized by the state as the aggressor in relation to Ukraine in accordance with the laws of, or are imported from the territory of such state of the occupant (the aggressor) and/or the occupied territory of Ukraine defined by the law of Ukraine;
manufactured before 1 January 2010;
imported into the customs territory of Ukraine by the person for own use or in favour of other persons under contracts of purchase and sale, exchange, delivery, gift, Commission, assignments, guarantees and other economic and civil law contracts or by court order more than one passenger car for calendar year.
