If Parliament adopts the relevant laws, electric cars will become cheaper by 20%, and the period of stay in Ukraine the car foreign numbers will increase.

But there are pessimistic forecasts. “If Parliament will try to change the car market, importers will have to leave it. Will the cheaper cars

We understand that manufacturers in large markets do not want to lose positions, and are willing to sell the cars practically at cost. This, for example, in Russia and the United States. In supported cars, fuel will remain the same preferential excise rates, which were introduced in Ukraine from 1 January in 2016. It is important to note that 2017 is the last year of the environmental standard Euro-5, while you can import cars up to five years. In 2018 in Ukraine will come into force on standard Euro-6, while in Ukraine can be imported only cars not older than 2-3 years, which are more expensive.
Electric cars can become significantly cheaper
The only cars that can be significantly cheaper is electric cars. In 2016, the market growth of electric cars in the ahead of Ukraine, Poland and Russia. In Parliament is a bill on the abolition of VAT on electric cars. If the bill is adopted, electric cars will be 20% cheaper. Rules of stay in Ukraine not cleared cars can change

So, bill No. 1393 proposes to increase the duration of transit for vehicles up to 30 days, the bill number 1393-1 to 60, and in the draft law №4437 proposed to increase the term up to 30 days in 408 UAH/month. Bills No. 2359а and No. 4223 allows Ukrainian citizens to import a car with foreign registration year.
