The share of tight oil reserves in Russia is growing and has already reached 65% of total proven oil reserves; it is noted in the draft Strategy for the development of mineral resources of the Russian Federation until 2030″. The draft strategy was available on the website of the Federal Agency for subsoil use (Rosnedra).
“The growing share of tight oil reserves (in Russia it is made up of 65%”, – is noted in the strategy. Of the total reserves category oil АВС1 that in Russia more than 18 billion tons, to the category of stranded (TRIZ) include 2/3 of the reserves (12 billion tons).
Moreover, the share of TRIZ is gradually increasing due to the preferential development of easy reserves. In Russia annually produce about 500 million tons of oil without condensate.
