In the National Park, Ngorongoro conservation area, located in Northern Tanzania, researchers found traces of ancient man.
Scientists in Tanzania have discovered traces of ancient people that were left about four million years ago.
The discovery occurred in the National Park, Ngorongoro conservation area, located in the North of the state.
According to the researchers, the hominids went here 4 million years ago. Tanzania itself is rich in finds of this kind. This is one of the few places on Earth where you can find untouched areas, and is not damaged by weather elements. 40 years ago 20 km from the current open and close from the volcano, Sadiman, were found traces of a bipedal hominid. Now have found new prints, which are considered to be the most ancient in the world. Not so long ago they were able to detect traces that were left approximately 3.5-3.6 million years ago. The new finding is just sixty metres from the previous place, and is much older.
The researchers note that they will not stop at the opening where trod the oldest hominid. They also believe that this discovery will allow to answer a number of questions concerning human evolution, and will provide an opportunity to study the history of the landscape. The study area will continue, because they can be found new prints of hominids.
