Discovered dolmens, used by primitive tribes for stargazing.
A group of scientists from Portugal and great Britain in Central Portugal found a strange stone structure that was used in the past (about 6 thousand years ago) in order to observe the stars.
Royal astronomical society of great Britain reported that in the area of the Mondego river in the heart of Portugal found an astronomical building, which served for the ancient Europeans telescope.
Although the building does not have a magnifying glass, but in the middle of this device, you can see some parts of the night sky full of stars. Fabio Silva, a Professor who oversaw the study, said that using a “telescope” the Portuguese thousands of years ago watched the Aldebaran (star in Taurus). This celestial body indicate the time to move the tribes with herds of cattle on mountain pastures.
In addition, this astronomical knowledge did some people from the tribe are special, chosen by gods to read the “signs of heaven”.
