The largest cities on the planet can be under water.
Almost 70% of the largest cities in the world are under threat of flooding because of climate warming and increase of level of World ocean.
This is stated in the report of the Washington research Institute.
Among them: new York and Los Angeles, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Shanghai and Tianjin (China), Alexandria and Cairo, Jakarta, Lagos (Nigeria), Bangkok, Karachi, Calcutta and Mumbai (India ).
In addition, more than 10% of the population living in lowland areas is at risk to suffer from flooding caused by rising sea levels. Therefore, the water can be China, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, Egypt, USA, Thailand and the Philippines.
