Scientists have found that fish are able to sing the chorus.
Scientists from Curtin University in Perth made a unique discovery. It turns out fish can sing “the chorus.”
A few months Robber McCauley and his colleagues were daily recorded the singing fish off the West coast of Australia. Most active fish are singing in the early morning or evening, do emit different sounds.
Groupers have low bass, therapont “grunts”, and Japan produces the sound “BA-BA-BA.” Fish singing plays a very important role in their lives. The sounds help them to find food, gather for mating season, improve the process of hunting and defending from predators. Besides, the study of vocal marine species to help monitor their movements and condition of ecosystems.
