Scientists knew when and where ancient humans first got the fire

Учёным стало известно, когда и где древние люди впервые добыли огоньThe first fire was got going about 800 thousand years ago in the South-East of Spain.

The archaeologists were able to figure out where and when ancient men first got the fire. Traces of fire were discovered on the territory of modern Spain.

According to scientists, initially the search was conducted in Africa, but after some time moved to the North – to Europe and the Middle East. In the cave, which is since 2011, experts have discovered about 165 artifacts, made of stone, and more than 2,300 fragments of animal bones, whose age has reached 800 000 years.

Most of the finds experts noticed traces of heat that subjected the large-scale study on modern technology. It was found that during heat treatment of the objects of their temperature reached 400-600 degrees Celsius, which suggests that they were in the fire.

Archaeologists also noted that about a random fire we can not go, because inside the cave there was nothing that could catch fire “just like that”. In addition, near the entrance could not grow shrubs, so the fire was not for that to spread. While around the site, study the experts, in the stone age was a swamp, which once again refutes the theory with an accidental fire.
