Scientists were able to recreate the appearance of a woman whose skeleton was found during excavations in Gyeongju.
Specialists from England and South Korea after in-depth study of the skeleton women stated that they were able to recreate its appearance. The skeleton of a woman was able to detect in the process of archaeological work in the city of Gyeongju.
The woman was buried in a box, and it allowed scientists to understand that the find belongs to the heyday of the Silla state.
The peculiarity of such findings was that it gave the opportunity to study the whole skeleton, not just part of it. The researchers said that it is the skeleton of the fairer half of humanity, and at the time of death she was about 40 years old. By studying DNA, researchers found that it refers to peoples of East Asia.
Also, experts were able to recreate the appearance of the woman’s face, and her skull has an elongated shape, and forced to call it “alien.”
