American scientists have found that new experiences capacity development of the brain. In particular, they stimulate memory.
The researchers conducted tests on mice. Rodents were divided into two groups: pre-booked in the new environment, and second to none. After that, mice has shown a new place to hide the food. It turned out that the rodents from the first group quickly remember a new route, the second for a long time, could not master this test.
Scientists decided to establish the physiological reasons for this phenomenon. They conducted tests which showed that in rodents of the first group increased production of dopamine. It stimulated the production of new impressions. But dopamine itself contributes to the rapidity and completeness of assimilation of the new information.
At the end of the study, the researchers recommend people as often as possible to experience new impressions and experiences that will positively affect not only mood, but also on the abilities of the brain.
