Their experience demonstrates that quantum teleportation is a reality.
In the journal Nature Photonics has information from which it became known about a breakthrough in quantum teleportation.
It was scientists more than 3.7 miles.
Working in this area specialists from NASA conducted research together with scientists from the University of calgary and the National Institute of standards and technology in Boulder. Under the city Calgary which is in Canada, researchers conducted a “dark” cables. After that, they sent a photon from one point to another. As a result, the particle “traveled” a distance of 3.7 miles. Experts believe that this development will be one of the steps towards creating a quantum Internet. They recorded the results so far are a record.
One of the experts in charge of the experiment, believes that any transfer of information will be possible to implement, this problem can be overcome. Thanks to quantum teleportation encrypted data can be transferred more safely.
