During the research it was established that man is the most bloodthirsty creature that tends to kill their own kind more often than other mammals. Some experts suggest that civilization is the main cause of all conflicts and wars. This opinion is not supported by all scientists and put forward their own version, from which it follows that the propensity for violence inherent in human nature.
Employees of the University of Madrid decided to put an end to all disputes. They checked mortality data 137 families of mammals, studied more than four million deaths of animals and ancient people. Using the usual mathematical calculation, scientists have learned the exact percentage of individuals who died from the hands of their fellows, then compared the number of related and unrelated species.
It turned out that the man is six times more prone to violence than other mammals. In animals, only one animal out of three hundred (0.3%) died from intraspecific conflict, and a man’s figure was 2 percent.
