British scientists from the University of Manchester explained why people believe in ghosts.
In their opinion, there are three theories of evidence that spirits actually do not exist.
The researchers invited two groups of volunteers in an old theater. One group they said that this building is haunted. And second, that the construction now rekonstruiruet. As a result, 38% of the participants from the first group saw or heard in the theater, something strange, yet the same had a strange feeling. The rest (those who did not hear about the ghosts) are not noticed in the building of anything paranormal.
The reasons why people see ghosts can be a specific perception of reality. The man believes in what he is told or are told, especially if they know that the building was once dead people. The second reason scientists believe electromagnetic fields that affect the human brain and create a feeling that some person something or someone is following you. It can also influence the infrasound, which generates emotions such as fear, excitement or chills.
The last reason that allows you to see ghosts, is a mind-bending influence of toxic substances that affect the human psyche. Some carbon monoxide, pesticides and fungus formation lead to the fact that in old buildings or forests people see entities from the spirit world.
