Experts from the International telecommunications Union conducted a study in which they found that nearly 3.9 billion people on the planet do not have access to the Internet.

It is noted that even the fact of a rapid decrease in the cost of information technology can not provide all the Earth’s inhabitants with access to a global network. According to researchers, in the least developed countries are Internet users, only 15% of the population, at the same time developing States provides the world wide web 40% of its citizens, and in developed countries are connected to the network 81% of the population. Overall, only 47% of people on Earth have the ability to connect to the network.

The Secretary-General of the International telecommunication Union H. Zhao believes that before the involvement of more than half of the land in the digital economy are still very far away, even in spite of the pace of the dew of the level of mutual communication in the world.
