The results of the international competition of photos taken by tourists, called the Siena International Photo Awards, which was attended by photographers from more than 100 countries. Photos of travelers from India, China, Bangladesh, Turkey, Cuba, Bahrain and other countries of the imagination — as diverse as life itself. The winners prior to November 30, presented at the exhibition “Behind the lens” in Siena, Italy, and we can see them here.
“Vietnamese girl weaves a fishing net” (1st place in the category “Color”, author Danny Yen Sin Wong)
The photo was taken in a small village in the South of Vietnam, near the city of Phan rang. Woman in traditional clothes and the traditional conical hat, weaves a fishing net in the traditional method. Interestingly, this is a typically female occupation, whose history goes deep in antiquity.

This photo was taken in the Turkish city of Nazilli, aydın province. Woman carrying a basket, passing between the colorful greenhouses with strawberries.

“Force of nature”, Etna, Sicily (1st place in the category “Nature”).
At the end of December 2015 in Sicily erupted Etna. An enormous amount of magma and ash, raised to a height of several kilometers, creating the appearance of a mushroom cloud that captivates with its intimidating grandeur.

The photographer travelled to Cuba to shoot the mangroves, which are an important ecological component of the flora of these places, and for him, the mangroves was the number one goal. By chance, during the shooting he managed to capture a young American crocodile and get this incredible shot.

The photographer captured from a distance of two women and their reflections on the mirror surface of the floor.
