The cluster is located at a distance of 11.1 billion light-years from Earth.
Researchers using the x-ray Observatory Chandra have discovered a galactic cluster is a champion in range of the location.
As reported on the website NASA, the oldest known clusters in the Universe, most likely, was dismissed by the Observatory at the moment of birth.
The cluster has received the name of CL J1001+0220 (CL J1001), it is located at the distance of 11.1 billion light-years from Earth. The cluster consists of 11 galaxies, 9 of which are active process of star formation. Stars are formed in the nuclei of galaxies at a speed equivalent to the emergence of three thousand Suns per year.
The detection of this cluster pushes the estimated time of the arrival of the first clusters of galaxies at 700 million years ago.
