A planetary scientist Veronica Bray, working with camera Hi-RISE, has deciphered the inscription from the photo.
NASA saw in the Sands of Mars a few dunes, which resemble writing on the Morse code. The space Agency managed to decrypt one of them.

Hi-RISE removes the surface of Mars in visible light and near-infrared range with the automatic interplanetary station Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, which is orbiting the planet since 2006. Dots and dashes in the topography of Mars has noticed before, but only on the dune, Hagal (located just South of the North pole), these patterns were particularly pronounced.
The reason is that the lowland is almost perfectly round shape concentrated around the wind blowing a certain way. Dash formed a bi-directional air flow (wind blowing perpendicular with respect to the dunes). The point (Burhaniye dunes) occur when something interrupts this process of drawing lines — what scientists don’t know yet.
