App Facebook Messenger began to support the technology of SMS sent via mobile phone short text messages, reported on the official page in social network Facebook.
The developers claim that the SMS will not pass through Facebook servers and use standard means of mobile communication. The main task of the new function is to enable user to communicate with different people through one app.
Another advantage of the Messenger was the ability to send SMS data on the location, stickers and emoticons-Emoji.
The cost of sending text via Messenger is charged at the usual cost of the SMS service provider. Conversations via mobile phone will be displayed in purple, while for standard Internet conversations remain design with blue color scheme.
Messenger you can reassign to send and receive SMS instead of the standard built-in app on smartphones based on Android. The implementation of such a functionality on Apple’s iOS is hampered by the lack of choices of programs to work with SMS.
