The Facebook office in tel Aviv, Israel, presented an architectural firm Setter Architects. The new space occupies four floors of high-rise buildings on Rothschild Boulevard.
Open space office allows employees to move freely and to communicate during the working day, creating a relaxed and creative mood. The local cultural coloration was reflected in the choice of materials and interior items. Architectural elements like antique window shutters were transformed into the decor of the kitchen area and the tiles with an ornament of steel part of the concrete floor in the cafeteria.
Traditional wood panels were dismantled and rebuilt to form a library in the Central region, and the former solar water heaters and gas cylinders turned into pots for plants that adorn the room. Another special element of the interior was a staircase of steel and metal mesh, which was very popular in the construction of tel Aviv in the past. On the wall of the landing housed the work of Israeli artist FALUJA, which was custom made. These objects of art are integrated into the space with colorful graphics and a variety of Arabesque wooden elements that create a three-dimensional visual image.
