Jupiter found a cyclone with a height of 10-ton

The planet’s magnetic field is much stronger than thought before.

Scientists have discovered Jupiter’s cyclone, which significantly rises above the clouds of the planet. The diameter of this cyclone is about seven thousand kilometers, it rises above the clouds of the planet to a height of 85 kilometers. Such data, researchers have found the photographs that were collected by the spacecraft Juno during the approach to the largest in the Solar system the planet on August 27.

In addition, it was found that Jupiter’s magnetic field and auroras that occur on the planet, much more powerful than was believed before.

Juno was launched August 5, 2011 from Cape Canaveral, it is part of the program, New Frontiers. Juno first in history to make a flyby of the planet through its pole. The unit arrived at the orbit of Jupiter in July of this year.
