Scientists have found stone tools near the bones of the remains of mastodons.
Archaeologists from the United States came to the conclusion that the first man could be in America sooner than expected before.

Scientists have found stone tools near the bones of the remains of mastodons. Searches territory was located near one of the rivers of Florida (USA) in a 45-minute drive from Tallahassee. The age of discovery — 14,55 for thousands of years.
Interest in the site arose in the 1980s. Since then there have been several attempts to investigate the site (including with the help of divers). Between 2012 and 2014 for years experts have learned a few stone tools and animal bones. Using the latest radiocarbon Dating techniques, the researchers were able to date the artifacts.
The work of archaeologists has shown that people settled in the South-East of the country on 1.5 thousand years earlier than scientists believed.
The encampment is the oldest evidence of human presence in the South-East of North America and possibly the entire continent, to be true if the widespread view that the Clovis people were there first. Currently in North America of the five regions where people were more than 13.2 thousand years ago. The first evidence of Clovis culture belong to this period. The discovery allows scientists to assume that representatives of culture could not be the very first people on the continent (or to have time to settle on it).
