Astronomers claim that there may soon be a second Sun.
Scientists from around the world are concerned that in the future the sky may have one Sun. The researchers believe that this sun may be the star Betelgeuse, which is already beginning to undergo the first stages of conversion in a supernova.
As of today, the aforementioned star is considered one of the brightest bodies. But scientists are sure that very soon it will be obsolete the time, will explode and turn into a large fireball similar to the Sun.
Formed light will last at least two weeks, but scientists believe such an event mankind will not survive. About cataclysm said back in 2011. It was then that Dr. brad Carter of the University of southern Queensland (Australia) said that Betelgeuse will become a red giant in a year.
Fortunately, nothing happened, but now astronomers say that this event can not be avoided, but it is not known when there will be this tragedy.
