The scientific team of Polish and Czech scientists found deepest water cave in the Eastern region of the Czech Republic.
Accurate data on the study can be studied on a dedicated site. The head of the expedition Krzysztof Starnawski said that he feels “Columbus of the 21st century”.
The discovery was made near the town of Border is located in the Eastern part of the Czech Republic. The search was conducted by a team of divers, thanks to a special robot ROV, who has studied the cave. With 2015, the scientific team was down more than 200 meters to explore the underwater bottom. However, the supply of air and forces the scuba divers usually are not enough to reach the cave, located at a depth of 404 metres.
Then the science team has launched the remote robot, which was able to sail through a narrow passage in the cave. After studying the underwater object, the experts said that it is the deepest underwater cave. Earlier this record belonged to the sinkholes located in Italy.
Note that an expedition funded by the company of the National Geographic channel, plan to repeat to collect additional data about the cave.
