The Linux operating system proved to be very vulnerable.
At the core of the Linux operating system versions 3.x and 4.x has been found a serious vulnerability.
A vulnerability has been discovered in the operating system kernel Linux 3.14.73, 4.4.14 and 4.6.3. It affects Linux distributions: Ubuntu, Debian, SUSE and RHEL.
The gap allows to cause a denial of service and potentially gain elevated privileges on the system to the level of the root. The user can cause damage to the dynamic memory and to perform an emergency shutdown of the system.
At the moment released a security patch that fixes a dangerous vulnerability. We recommend all users install the patch as soon as it is available.
