In files No Man’s Sky found strange things

В файлах No Man's Sky нашли странные вещиIn files hidden logo Half-Life.

Almost immediately after the release of No Man’s Sky on Steam users began archaeological excavations in the game files. The search indeed yielded interesting results (though not procedurally generated).

The main part of the discovery belongs to the “dataminer” Hugo Peters (Hugo Peters, who has previously managed to pick open the engine Quantic Dream. Peters has already written tools to view the file No Man’s Sky and plans to give it to the community later.

Hugo found in the resources game model, which is called “Astronaut”. Probably so, look at the players. Or maybe it’s just a working plug for something else. Or even “Easter eggs”. And why the space Explorer, riding on a unicycle, also not clear!

The file is hidden and the logo of Half-Life 2. Apparently, it was used for test purposes.

Peters also found the tails of the demos, including the one showed at the Sony conference during E3 2015. She, judging by the folder names were scripted for the sake of greater clarity.

Finally found traces of the development for other platforms. Most likely, the original No Man’s Sky was going more on the PlayStation 3 with the Xbox 360. The license for the Havok engine allows Hello Games to release the game on Xbox One.

But a hint of multiplayer in the list of files not found.
