Chinese archaeologists have discovered in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region, the site of the old people age 10 thousand years, informs the Agency “Xinhua”. Traces of human habitation have been found near natural caves.
In July of this year, researchers found stone tools. The study of methods of their processing and the analysis of changes in rock layers allowed the scientists to determine that ancient people lived in the cave about 10 thousand years ago.
In addition to the main large cave, scientists have discovered ten small branches, which constituted a single underground karst system.
