Planet Earth entered a new epoch – the anthropocene.
This term refers to the geological era in which human activity plays a significant role in the ecosystem of the Earth, in other words, mankind has a serious impact on the planet.
On new era, said at the 35th International geological Congress in South Africa.
According to scientists, global warming, sea level rise, waste combustion, plastic waste, a sharp increase in erosion, radioactive particles remaining as a result of the testing of nuclear bombs, etc. will all contribute to changes in the earth’s rock.
The idea that the world has entered a new era, first proposed by scientists Paul Crutzen and Eugene Stormer.
