The Facebook company has created a device that is designed to provide Internet access to residents in remote areas. The novelty has received name OpenCellular, as noted on the manufacturer’s website.

“More than 4 billion people still lack basic access to the Internet, and one of the most serious challenges is how to reach remote areas that are not covered by the existing infrastructure”, – said the founder of Facebook, mark Zuckerberg.

The site also notes that OpenCellular can withstand even harsh climatic conditions. In order for it to work, you will need solar panels or batteries, or mains power.
