Since November, EVE Online will become accessible to anyone.
During the thirteen years that have passed since then, as CCP Games has released EVE Online in 2003-m to year, pay a monthly subscription was the only way to enjoy a sci-Fi multiplayer. But it was the main reason why users left the game.
At least so say the developers, who in November of this year, plans to produce large-scale update function Clone States that allowed everyone to play for free.
After installing the update, all characters in EVE Online will be divided into two so-called “state of the clones — Omega and Alpha.
Clones Omega will operate like the current characters, without any limitations to access to the progression of skills and accelerated skills training. While the Alpha clone will be able to train and use certain skills in battle, only on some space ships like frigates, fighters and cruisers. Besides the alpha clones will develop a bit slower and will become the new base state for all characters.
Free clones, Alpha will also have access to the skills of Commerce, industry and research. And the universe of EVE Online in any way will not be limited to them. Accordingly, in order to get a “more advanced” as Omega, you will need to pay a subscription. Once it expires, your character automatically returns to a state Alpha.
CCP is well aware that this discovery gateways may not the best way to affect the Economics of the project, so the November update will bring some changes in gameplay of EVE Online.
