The journal published study of people’s behavior before the heart attacks: within two hours following outbursts from people almost five times better chance to get a heart attack. Moreover, three and a half times increase the likelihood.

All this, according to the researchers, is because emotional stress accelerates heartbeat, raises blood pressure and restricts blood flow.

So next time you’re on the verge of collapse, try to calm down. Slow breathing to the rhythm of six breaths per minute can lower blood pressure in just five minutes, say scientists.
