Banks are cutting credit to non-financial sector of Russia and delay growing

The volume of loans to non-financial organizations in Russia in April 2016 fell by 1.6% after falling 4.2% in March to 31 trillion 847,3 billion RUB For the first 4 months of this year, the figure fell by 4.4%, follows from materials of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

While arrears on loans to the nonfinancial sector in January—April grew by 2%, although last month it fell by 0,2% after dropping 3.7% in March and amounted to 2 trillion 118.1 billion rubles, reports “Finmarket”.

The proportion of delay for the month grew to 6.65% of the loan portfolio of the banking sector to non-financial organizations, compared to 6.6% a month earlier.

All banks issued on may 1, 2016 55 trillion 291,3 billion rubles of credits (organizations, banks and individuals). Over the past month, the volume of issued loans fell by 1.3%. For 4 months the volume of loans decreased by 3.4%.

The arrears on all loans in April grew by 0.8% — up to 3 trillion 177,1 billion rubles In January—April increased by 3.3%.
