The scientific staff of NASA released photos of Saturn’s rings in high resolution. Images have become available thanks to the team of the Cassini spacecraft 2.
Pictures were taken from a distance of 420 thousand kilometers from the object. Posted on photos of the missing stars – this is due to the brightness of Saturn’s rings, which appear in the picture.
Scientists were able to find in the picture two satellites of the planet Epithema and Dion. Also images gave the possibility to assume that a ring of asteroids around Saturn are composed of ice and ice debris that gives the refraction of light.
Team NASA launched Cassini in 1997 to study the satellites of Saturn, Titan, Epithema and Dion.
