For example, in 1977, astronomers have recorded an unusual signal, very similar to the one that scientists expect ever to obtain. Dr. Jerry Ayman registered the signal, circled a group of symbols on paper with a pen and signed the “Wow!” thus expressing their surprise at the discovery.
Despite the growing on the part of some scientists ‘ skepticism regarding the confidence in the existence of alien life, the search continues. And, it seems, astronomers have again been able to detect something interesting. Alexander Panov, the employee Zelenchukskaya radio astronomical Observatory, reported that the radio telescope RATAN-600 has detected a strong signal in the direction HD164595″. Despite the fact that it was recorded by the radio telescope on may 15, 2015, information about its detection has begun to emerge only recently. The fact that since the discovery of this signal, the scientists waited for its repetition, which, alas, failed to detect.
No one claims that this signal was sent to a highly developed civilization, but astronomers urge colleagues to investigate the situation. HD164595 star system located in the constellation Hercules at a distance of 95 light years from Earth and, according to experts, its age is about 6 billion years. Earlier in this system was discovered exoplanet. Life it may seem impossible, but astronomers listened to the Russian colleagues, called for monitoring, and Monday began to monitor HD164595.
The received signal was very strong, and it could send civilization similar to ours in terms of development. In order to send a signal to such power, the potential of a civilization would need to learn for their needs of energy star. On the other hand, if the radio signal was deliberately sent to us, all things are possible. According to experts SETI, theoretically this message could send so-called “kardashevskaya civilization type II” to greet us, or, for example, to send a signal for help.
